What you see on screen:
(No error message - the feet hover above or sink into the floor)
What it means
The model's feet and Unity's ground (Y = 0) don't line up. If the feet are above the origin the avatar floats; if below, it sinks. High heels and platform shoes are a common trigger.
Common causes
- The avatar's feet are offset from the origin (Y = 0)
- Heels or platform shoes raised only the feet
- The outfit's Armature has a Scale change
- The View Position height doesn't match the body
How to fix it
- Look at the scene from the side and check the shoe soles line up with Y = 0
- Set the avatar's Transform Position to (0, 0, 0)
- For heels, use the height adjustment that comes with the shoes (gimmick or setting in their readme)
- Move the View Position back between the eyes
